[Golden Globe Award] Solving the linear thyristor dimming scheme "pain point" Ming Microelectronics won the Golden Globe Award

The 2017 High-tech LED Golden Globe Awards were selected as "the theme of a company, a master craftsman, and a 'heart'". It is understood that Mingwei Electronics successfully completed the development of the high-efficiency thyristor dimming series SM2082EK, SM2196E, SM2396E in March this year effectively solved two major problems:

1. The efficiency is low, causing the temperature of the whole lamp to be high. In order to solve this problem, additional heat treatment (such as potting) is needed;

2. The brightness of the whole lamp will change when the line voltage fluctuates.

The core of the technology lies in the patented linear thyristor dimming control technology to realize on-line detection of thyristors and improve the efficiency of the system. At the same time, the patented wire mesh compensation technology is used to achieve the effect of constant light through the whole lamp within a certain voltage range.

This product uses the unique technology to fundamentally make up for the shortcomings of the existing linear thyristor dimming solution and enhance the market competitiveness of the product:

1, using thyristor control, compatible with traditional lines, easy to replace and promote;

2. The patented thyristor dimming control circuit improves the efficiency and light efficiency of the system, reduces the system temperature under the same optical flux requirements, and improves the reliability of the system;

3, the linear scheme peripheral circuit is simple, the customer is more convenient to use, low cost, especially suitable for small-volume, narrow-space products;

4. Compatible with 120Vac@60Hz /230Vac@50Hz dimmer.
