The new TM8050H-8 SCR is rated at 80A and is packaged in a high-voltage D3PAK (TO-268-HV) package, which enables 1-10kW mid-power applications to take advantage of surface mount assembly efficiency and use smaller printed circuit boards. And heat sinks, which reduce overall system cost. The junction-to-case heat resistance of the package is extremely low, only 0.25°C/W, ensuring efficient heat dissipation. The creepage distance from the pin to the heat sink is very large, reaching 5.6mm. When applying high voltage, the long creepage distance can provide more. High safety factor. The new product is also available in a TO-247 package.
