Power Conversion Corporation EPC (EPC) and 450 V is usually announced in enhancement mode Power Transistor off state (EPC2027), can be used in applications requiring high frequency switch, thereby achieving higher efficiency and power density. Applications that benefit from high-voltage devices with faster switching characteristics include UHF DC-DC converters, medical diagnostics, solar power inverters, and LED lighting applications.
The EPC2027 device features 450 V rated voltage, 400 mΩ maximum on-resistance (RDS(on)) and 4 A output current. The device uses passivated wafers with electrodes for efficient heat dissipation and ease of assembly. The size of the EPC2027 device is 1.95 mm x 1.95 mm to increase power density.
