On July 23, the “Guangdong LED Lighting Supply Chain High-Level Tour Seminar” was held in the Carinna Grand Hotel in Foshan Chancheng District. The seminar aimed at Foshan LED lighting companies eager for cost-effective accessories manufacturers to appeal, integrate the entire industry chain resources, including lamp beads, drive ICs, power supplies, professional stores and other high-quality enterprises came to Foshan to facilitate the upgrade of Foshan LED industry.

The seminar was jointly sponsored by Gaogong LED and Foshan Lighting Association, and was strongly supported by local governments, enterprises and the media. It covers key elements such as regional industry supporting enterprises, governments, associations, media and exhibition platforms. Lighting companies offer complete lighting solutions from package to product, policy to promotion, channel to marketing.

Tian Jie, manager of Zhuo Nip Power Marketing Center, said that intelligent dimming mainly falls into two categories. The first is to change the on-duty ratio, that is, PWM dimming. This kind of dimming has no flicker, and the grading dimming has strong controllability. The disadvantage is that it requires two-stage conversion, constant voltage + constant current + single-chip PWM control, low efficiency and high cost.

The second is to change the current size of the thyristor dimming, directly connected to the thyristor dimmer, no additional wiring, strong replacement, high efficiency of the first-stage conversion. The disadvantage is that the compatibility is not strong, there may be flicker, and the color temperature has a small amount of drift.

Although thyristor dimming has the above disadvantages, it is used in a wide range of applications, including incandescent and halogen lamps, so LEDs can replace traditional luminaires for intelligent dimming as long as they are compatible. At present, thyristor dimming technology is valued by many international manufacturers.

With the development of intelligent buildings and controls, the demand for lighting is no longer limited to functional lighting, but to the need for lighting culture. The LED replacement lamp made according to the shape of the traditional lighting fixture does not reflect the best performance and characteristics of the LED. It needs to display the optimal state in the form of dimming, so the intelligent lighting will become the mainstream in the future.
